Established in 1962, the UK’s D&AD Awards is globally recognized as the most rigorously judged competition in design and advertising, representing one of the industry’s highest honors. The iconic “Yellow Pencil” serves as the equivalent of a Gold Award, with a winning rate that typically falls below 1% of all annual entries. This milestone marks the very first time a team from Taiwan has achieved this prestigious honor in a design category.

Located in Taiwan, Fu Jen Catholic University is one of the oldest Catholic universities in the Sinophone world, possessing extensive academic exchange resources within the global academic network. Its Creative Design Center is dedicated to driving interdisciplinary design innovation and industry-academic collaboration. Focused on experiential design, this lecture shared the creative mindset, underlying thinking, and practical experiences behind the design process.
