An Audience Co-Created Performance Across Spaces|Producer (Bito)
Marking the first public opening of the New Taipei City Art Museum, the work responds to its vision as a museum for all. Through intuitive touch-based interactions, visitors generate shifts in image and sound, transforming the architecture into a light sculpture co-created in real time.
Guided by the idea that to enter the site is to enter the work, a sequence of embodied interactions unfolds along the approach. As visitors pass the entrance, their presence triggers light that flows forward, extending across the surrounding surfaces.
These movements engage in dialogue with wind-responsive sensors. As light spreads across the walls, it appears to soften the material itself, echoing the building’s architectural concept inspired by reeds.
The result is an interactive work deeply attuned to the spirit of its site.
